YEAH! PINK! WOO!

This is the last of all the first row of colours and also I don't want to talk about the Legend of Zelda: The WindWaker. Instead I shall talk about a friend’s birthday party that we for her in February 25, 2012.
So I was waiting for the hour before the party to come around so I can go take a shower and get ready and everything else, but in the last 2 hours before the party, my parents made some last minute plans to have a party of their own so I couldn't go. So for the next hour I was doing homework and telling people to tell the others people that I’m not going. Then in the last half hour, a friend calls me and asks me if I was going, so I explained to her why. Then out of nowhere my mom appears and asks me what does she want, I then say “She wants to know if I’m going to the party and I said no” and my mom asks, “Why not?” after those words I knew that I was going but I was also a bit frustrated. My friend told me that she was going to pick me up to take me to the party. So I had 20 minutes to get ready and everything but meanwhile I was taking a shower, my parents went out expecting to come back before the party hour and I was ready and everything. By the time my friend arrived at my house, my parents weren’t home, so there was no way I could leave the house. I was stuck in there for a good 15 min since my friend arrived until finally comes my mom and dad and I tell them the she was downstairs. So I went downstairs and went in the car and when we arrived, barely anyone was there so she was worried for nothing. As time went by, more people started arriving and eventually, everyone has arrived. I forgot to mention, this party was a surprise party. And one of the funniest moments was when a friend arrived late to the party but before the birthday girl arrived, and he didn’t know what her car looked like, so from the top of the building, we looked down at his car, and every single car that went by him, he bent down and hid in his car. By the time the birthday girl came by we were all hiding but everyone was stupid enough that by the time we hid, we made noises. Luckily everyone stayed quiet when we heard her coming upstairs. So she, expecting to just have a friendly hang out, went upstairs to watch a “movie” or so she expected and then we popped out and yelled “surprise” but one person, he decided to pop out at the most awkward moment, he succeeded, and everyone laughed though. In the first surprise though, the reaction was expectable, I expected her to cover her mouth and cry of joy but instead she just covered her mouth, half right. One more person did show up about 10 minutes later and that was all. For the rest of the night we watched one movie, talked seriously and had a big laugh. It was fun.

The Legend of Zelda: The WindWaker Part 2

And I am back with more stories of The Legend of Zelda: The WindWaker and we left of at Windfall Island when you were just leaving.

You have now arrived at Dragon Roost Island and the King of Red Lions gives you a very important tool, The Wind Waker, which is a baton and he tells you that in this island, there is a stone tablet with some markings that look to be a melody, so you pull out your Wind Waker and play the conduction. The wind changes directions and out of nowhere appears Zephos, the god of winds.
He talks about how the Wind Waker belonged to a hero a long time ago and how you can keep it for your journey. Also, you notice a stone tablet next to Zephos' tablet and he mentions that it's his brothers and how he became evil thus destroying the tablet so no one shall summon him. But you have now learnt the Wind Requiem which allows you to borrow Zephos' power of the winds and use it to change the directions of it. Back with your exploration of Dragon Roost Island, when you make your way up the first rocks, you will meet a Rito, a birdman like you met in your home island. He will tell the others of your arrival and fly inside, the Rito Cave. Once you go in, he will tell you of what's been going on in the island. Of how the dragon protector of their island, Valoo, has been angry for a while now and they don't know why, he just sits in the top of the mountain and screams in anger.
After he explains this, he gives you the delivery bag and you go upstairs to see this Rito called Medli and she will ask you to deliver Father's Letter to Prince Komali and then tells you to meet her downstairs.
When you go visit this little Rito downstairs named Komali, he says that he just wants to be alone so he tells you to leave but you notice he has a shiny orange ball with him, he still kicks you out though but not before you give him Father's Letter.
You then go through a tunnel downstairs that leads you into an outside part of the Island that has a strong wind of ashes and embers and that's where you meet Medli. The bridge to get to the other side was broken she wanted to meet Valoo. So you pick her up and when the wind is just right, you throw her and she'll glide across. She thanks you and gives you an Empty Bottle. At this point you don't know what to do with an Empty Bottle, until you notice a little puddle in the middle of the broken bridge. So you go down and fill the bottle and you make your way up by using the broken bridge as a ladder. Next there are some dried flower patches and you give the water to one of the flowers and it turns out that it's a Bomb Flower. A Bomb Flower is what you need because there is a rock down in the middle of the puddle in which you need to explode. You throw the Flower Bomb down there and it explodes, it then fills the the empty middle in with water so you can safely swim across. Then there are a couple of walls with a statue holding a pot, so you need to throw Bomb Flowers in the pots so they'll fall down and you can safely use the walls as a bridge. You can now safely walk across and enter Dragon Roost Cavern.

And this concludes this section of The Legend of Zelda: The WindWaker but you are now aware of why it's called The WindWaker but you are not aware of what dangers you will encounter as the story goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: The WindWaker

So this post is dedicated to one of my favourite games of all time.
The Legend of Zelda:
THE WINDWAKER

This game is extremely old yet a legend and I still have it and I'm replaying it. Also another thing, I'm typing in blue because a main part in the game is sailing through sea. A small summary of the game is written in the back of the box and it says:

An Evil Wind is Rising
Legend has it that whenever evil has appeared, a hero named Link has risen to defeat it. That legend continues on the surface of a great and mysterious sea as Link sets off on his most epic and awe-inspiring adventure yet. Aided by a magical conductor's baton called the Wind Waker, he will face unimaginable monsters, explore puzzling dungeons, and meet a cast of unforgettable characters as he searches for his kidnapped sister.

In this post I will try to summarize the game as much as possible starting now.

You wake up one morning on Outset Island by your sister's yell of your name and it's your birthday. She gives you her telescope and you spot a huge bird in the sky being shot by a pirate ship. It turns out the bird was carrying a young girl. As the bird gets hit it drops the girl in a forest and you must rescue her. Your grandmother gives you green clothes A.K.A. Link's trademark. As well as the Hero Sword and you enter the forest. You save the girl and find out her name is Tetra and she is the captain of the Pirate Ship.
You and the pirates set sail to the Forsaken Fortress, the giant birds hide out, but there doesn't seem to be a way to get in, thus, pirates, as smart as they are, place you in a cannon and shoot you towards the castle. As you fall in the castle you happen to lose your sword so you need to sneak your way to your sword at the top of the castle (what a coincidence).
Once you reach the top, you find your sister in a cage along with more girls and you discover that the birds been capturing young girls with pointy ears. As you enter the room, though, the bird captures you and flies you over to his leader, you don't see him very well but he commands the bird to get rid of you, so he throws you away. You get woken up by a voice, you open your eyes and you're in a boat. You can't find where the voice is coming from and unbelievably it comes from the boat, he calls himself, the King of Red Lions. He tells you about the man you saw that night, his name was Ganon... And he's, quoting the game. "He who obtained the power of the gods, attempted to cover the land in darkness, and was ultimately sealed away by the very power he hoped to command. He is the very same Ganon... The emperor of the dark realm the ancient legends speak of... I do not know why the seal of the gods has failed, but now that Ganon has returned, the world is once again being threatened by his evil magic." Even though the King of Red Lions has the power to speak, it does not have the power to contain a sail, so you need to get it in the island which you're at, Windfall Island.
After you get the sail, you don't need to do it now but it'll be useful for later, to save Tingle. (He's found in the door behind the dancing Elvis). He sees that you're wearing similar clothes than him so for freeing him and being related to him in a way, he gives you the Tingle Tuner (An item that lets you play with a Game Boy Advanced letting a second player come in the game) and the Tingle map (A map that lets you find Tingle) there's a little hole hiding in the jail with a tunnel leading to the Picto Box (An item that lets you take pictures in black and white) but it's optional to get it. You now have the sail and you can set sail to your next destination, Dragon Roost Island.
This is a big game with a lot of side quests and I expected to summarize the whole game in this blog, but I need details to explain the game. What I'm saying is that this will be part one of the Legend of Zelda: The WindWaker. The next destination is going to explain why this game is called The Legend of Zelda: The WindWaker and also we shall fight our first boss.
